Applications Are Now Open For The Pitura Seeds Leaders In Agriculture Scholarship

Pitura Seeds is a family-owned 4th generation seed business and farm operating near Domain, Manitoba and is committed to supporting the next generation of leaders in the agriculture community.  With that in mind, we are offering a scholarship to help a deserving individual further his/her education in agriculture. 

This scholarship awards $1000.00 to a deserving individual who is enrolled in agriculture at a university or college.   

Criteria:
The deserving candidate must be active in their community working as a positive role model.  They must also have a passion for agriculture. Only individuals who best represent Pitura Seeds’ core values will be considered for this award.  These core values are - Integrity, Relationships, Community and Work Ethic.

Applicants must submit the following:
·         Completed and signed application form
·         Proof of enrolment in a post-secondary institution or conditional letter of acceptance
·         Transcript of academic record
·         A letter of reference from a teacher, principal, guidance counselor, supervisor or mentor
·         A video application is highly recommended or a 500-word essay describing why you should be awarded this scholarship with a focus on Pitura Seeds’ values: Integrity, Relationships, Community and Work Ethic.

Entries must be received by Pitura Seeds on or before 5:00 pm April 30th, 2024.   The winner will be selected and notified no later than May 31st, 2024 and must provide proof of enrollment from his/her post-secondary institution by September 30th, 2024.  The student will be sent his/her scholarship money within 30 days of submitting proof of enrollment.  Proof of enrollment can be sent by email to tom@pituraseeds.ca. This scholarship will only be awarded if deserving applications are received.
